Abstract

The number of TV series aimed at a teenage audience is growing every year and often draws attention to current social issues. In the modern world, almost no project is created without the use of transmedia storytelling, and the Norwegian series “SKAM” with its adaptations are striking examples of such use. This article will determine the reasons why some adaptations of the series are more popular and successful than others, and what transmedia tools are used to achieve this result.
