Abstract

This research paper examines the intersection of contemporary dance and video art, with particular attention to the experiments that have arisen as a result of the interaction of these two artistic phenomena. The article discusses the topics of movement, plastic, video, digital technologies. Based on documentary video recordings of dance performances and performances, we can trace how new media are actively included in dance works, and thereby give rise to new artistic practices in modern choreography. The report examines the experiences and ways in which dance artists, choreographers and performers are creating new types of artistic work that challenge conventions and expand the boundaries of dance and video. Analysis of significant works and practices in the field of dance and video allows us to study the variety of approaches to plasticity, body perception, and record a new stage in the development of modern dance today.
